## Role Overview: Estate Accounting Officer Trainee
The Estate Accounting Officer Trainee plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our plantation operations. This position offers an immersive environment where you will manage comprehensive administrative and accounting duties essential to the daily success of our estate units.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of field-level accounting, which includes:
* Journal Voucher Processing: Ensuring accurate and timely entry of all financial transactions.
* Bank Reconciliation: Maintaining precise alignment between internal records and bank statements.
* Taxation Compliance: Assisting in the preparation and reporting of relevant tax obligations.
* Payroll Administration: Managing accurate wage and salary processing for estate personnel.
* Inventory & Warehouse Management: Overseeing the systematic tracking of warehouse stock.
* Operational Reporting: Handling production and crop administration data.
* Financial Reporting: Compiling accurate Trial Balances to support management decision-making.
## Candidate Requirements
To ensure the high standards of our operations are met, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
* Educational Background: A Diploma III (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting. Candidates must hold a minimum GPA of 2.75 from a State University or 3.00 from a Private University.
* Age Limit: Maximum 30 years old at the time of recruitment.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong command of the English language and high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
