# From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leadership: The Evolution of PT Saka Farma Laboratories
The journey of our organization traces back to 1956 in Semarang, where we first established a footprint in the pharmaceutical trade sector. What began as a modest enterprise focused on medical supplies gradually expanded, leading to the formal incorporation of PT Sakafarma Sehat in 1960. During this period, the company shifted its focus toward the manufacturing and direct distribution of its own pharmaceutical product lines, laying the foundation for long-term growth.
## Navigating a Changing Pharmaceutical Landscape
As the decades progressed, the company successfully weathered the evolving market conditions of the 20th century. By the 1990s, however, the pharmaceutical industry witnessed a surge in competitiveness. Recognizing the need for greater synergy and operational excellence, the company entered a strategic partnership in 1997 with PT Kalbe Farma Tbk—the largest pharmaceutical entity in Indonesia.
Following this successful collaboration, the company was rebranded as PT Saka Farma Laboratories. This transformation paved the way for total integration into the Kalbe ecosystem, culminating in August 2009 when PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) acquired full ownership of the subsidiary, further solidifying its position as a powerhouse in consumer health.

Candidate Requirements
We are looking for motivated, dedicated, and competent individuals who meet the following criteria:
1. Academic Status: Currently enrolled as an active undergraduate student.
2. Availability: Capable of committing to a 4 to 12-month internship tenure.
3. Skillset: Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
4. Mobility: Willing to work on-site (WFO) at our Head Office in Pulomas or our manufacturing facilities in Pulogadung and Cikarang.
