## Current Career Opportunity: Electrical Technician
As we continue to expand our reach and influence, PT Pertamina Training & Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our team in Balikpapan. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our critical electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our electrical infrastructure through:
* Executing commissioning, startup, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems within refinery environments.
* Conducting rigorous performance checks on motors, MCC panels, switchgear, transformers, grounding systems, and lighting.
* Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance in strict alignment with work orders and maintenance plans.
* Identifying equipment abnormalities and providing actionable technical recommendations to Supervisors and Engineers.
* Interpreting complex technical documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
* Maintaining strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Permit to Work systems, and HSSE regulations.
* Documenting all maintenance activities, findings, and equipment status updates accurately.
Candidate Requirements
To excel in this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
* Indonesian citizenship.
* Minimum education of SMA/SMK.
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical equipment maintenance.
* Proficiency in coupling and uncoupling electrical motor gearboxes.
* Advanced capability in using specialized electrical measurement tools.
* Strong analytical skills for rapid and safe electrical troubleshooting.
* Ability to read, interpret, and explain Single Line Diagrams and technical electrical drawings.
* Comprehensive understanding of fundamental electrical equipment.
* Current residency in Balikpapan or the surrounding area.
* Willingness to serve as a Contract Employee (Tenaga Alih Daya/TAD).
