## Job Overview: Utility Operator
The Utility Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless continuity of production processes. This position is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of critical facility infrastructure, ensuring that all machinery operates at peak efficiency to meet global quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
As a Utility Operator at PT. Hyun Jin Indonesia, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:
* System Operation and Monitoring: Manage the daily operations of essential utility facilities, including Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, industrial compressors, chillers, and comprehensive water treatment systems.
* Documentation and Recording: Maintain meticulous and accurate daily operational logs to track system performance and resource consumption.
* Preventive Maintenance: Execute regular inspections and scheduled maintenance protocols to maximize equipment longevity and minimize unplanned production downtime.
* Troubleshooting: Rapidly identify operational irregularities and implement effective technical solutions to resolve equipment issues.
* Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to the company’s Occupational Health and Safety (K3) policies, environmental standards, and standard operating procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
* Reporting: Compile and submit detailed daily reports regarding facility status and operational outcomes to the management team.
## Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
The company is looking for a technical professional who possesses a blend of formal education and practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Educational Background
Applicants must hold at least a Vocational High School diploma (SMK) or a Diploma (D3) in one of the following disciplines:
* Mechanical Engineering
* Electrical Engineering
* Industrial Engineering
* Other closely related technical fields
Professional Experience and Skills
* Proven Track Record: A minimum of one year of professional experience serving as a Utility Operator.
* Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of industrial compressors, chillers, and integrated utility systems that support large-scale production lines.
* Safety Awareness: A fundamental understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) protocols within an industrial setting.
* Operational Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work within a rotating shift system to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
* Industry Background: Prior experience working within a manufacturing plant is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
