PT Medco Power Indonesia is currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join their operational team as a Field Operator. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of power generation facilities.
Key Responsibilities
The Field Operator acts as the eyes and ears of the plant, ensuring that equipment functions optimally under both routine and emergency circumstances. Primary duties include:
* Operational Oversight: Managing daily plant operations in seamless coordination with the Unit Controller.
* On-Site Supervision: Providing vigilant monitoring outside the control room during normal shifts and active incident responses.
* Emergency Response: Coordinating with the Shift Leader or Unit Controller during unit trips or urgent technical incidents.
* Local Equipment Management: Operating machinery via local control stations under the remote guidance of the Central Control Room.
* System Integrity: Conducting rigorous field inspections to verify that real-world conditions match digital system statuses.
* Reporting: Submitting comprehensive daily operational reports to ensure zero abnormalities within the plant infrastructure.
* Technical Support: Assisting the control team during planned start-ups and troubleshooting technical complexities.
Candidate Requirements

1. Educational Background: A minimum of a Diploma (D3) degree.
2. Professional Experience: At least one year of hands-on experience as an operator in power plants, utility operations, or heavy equipment environments.
