Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the fiscal health of our organization, with daily duties including:
* Cost Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing the Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) to ensure operational efficiency.
* Financial Reporting: Conducting thorough reviews of internal financial statements and maintaining accurate records.
* Transaction Management: Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and managing receipts.
* Cash Flow Oversight: Executing bank reconciliations, managing petty cash, and overseeing daily cash transactions.
* Tax Compliance: Preparing, calculating, and submitting mandatory tax documentation.
* Asset Management: Implementing strict internal controls and maintaining updated asset records.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this position, applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Management from a reputable institution with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
* Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in Finance, Accounting, or Tax roles specifically within the manufacturing sector.
* Certifications: Possession of Brevet A/B/C certification is required.
* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is mandatory.
* Language Skills: A working knowledge of the Japanese language will be considered a significant advantage.
