## Application Process and Selection Criteria
Prospective candidates are required to submit their applications through our official online portal. Only applicants who successfully pass the initial administrative screening will be invited for further selection, which includes a computer-based English proficiency test and an Academic Potential Test (TPA).
* Testing Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 11:00 WIB.
* Location: BP-SDM Unit Office, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
* Note: Candidates must arrive on time for the three-hour examination; late arrivals or off-schedule visits will not be accommodated. Candidates who possess valid, recognized proficiency certificates (TKBI/TKDA) may be exempt from testing.
## General Qualifications for Faculty Applicants
To ensure the highest standard of academic excellence, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
* Citizenship and Faith: Must be an Indonesian citizen and a follower of Islam.
* Age Limits: Maximum 30 years old for Master's (S2) holders; maximum 40 years old for Doctoral (S3) holders or medical specialists.
* Legal Standing: Must have a clean criminal record, verified by an official Police Record Certificate (SKCK).
* Academic Records:
* Master’s Degree: Minimum GPA of 3.50 (scale 4) with a study duration of no more than 3 years. Undergraduate GPA must be at least 3.25.
* Doctoral Degree: Minimum Master's GPA of 3.50 and Undergraduate GPA of 3.25. Must possess publications in reputable international journals.
* Language Proficiency: A minimum TOEFL ITP score of 525, IELTS 5.5, or equivalent.
* Health Requirements: Must be physically and mentally fit, and drug-free, verified by government hospital documentation upon successful appointment.
* Employment Status: Must not currently hold a contract or permanent employment status at another institution.
